Michael founded Sterling Inspection Group in 2000 after years of hands-on experience fixing homes. His deep knowledge of home systems and passion for helping people made him a natural fit for inspections—and it shows. With more than two decades of expertise, he’s truly a master of the craft, known across Washington for his ability to teach, lead, and elevate everyone around him.

Outside of Work:
Michael enjoys spending time with loved ones and cooking up new recipes in the kitchen. He’s also a walking music library—play just about any tune from any decade and he’ll tell you the artist before you can finish the chorus.

Fun Fact:
Michael grew Sterling one referral at a time by being quick to respond and generous with his knowledge. Today, he still lives that legacy—educating homeowners, agents, and inspectors alike, and helping Sterling grow into the thriving team it is today.

Lindsey became Sterling’s first official employee in 2010, working alongside her dad, Michael, to grow the company beyond a one-man show. With a clear vision for the future, she’s been behind the scenes building the team, the systems, and the relationships that have helped Sterling become a trusted name in home inspections across the Puget Sound.
Her passion lies in growing people—from developing leaders within the company to helping local small business owners thrive. She believes that when we invest in each other, the whole community wins.

Outside of Work:
As a mom of four boys, Lindsey knows how to juggle family, business, and real life. She’s passionate about creating “home” for others—both in houses and in the way she leads. You’ll often find her on a local trail, soaking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and recharging for what’s next.

Lindsey is the heartbeat behind Sterling’s mission to serve with excellence and lead with impact—and she’s just getting started.

Meet Adam, he has been inspecting homes since 2017 and has completed thousands of inspections across Western Washington. With a background in running a hardware store, he brings a deep knowledge of home systems and a strong client-first mindset. He’s fast, detailed, and committed to getting you the answers you need—without the wait.

Outside of Work:
Adam is a devoted dad who loves the outdoors, coaching and cheering on his kids at sporting events, and taking on hands-on projects at home or the family cabin.

Fun Fact:
If something needs fixing, building, or improving—Adam’s your guy. He lives out our value of Reliable Relationships by showing up every time, ready to deliver.

Since 2019, David has scoped over 3,000 sewer lines across Western Washington, mastering the underground world most people never see. With sharp skill and steady hands, he helps homeowners understand their sewer systems and guides them toward smart, preventative care that protects their investment.

Outside of Work:
David is a champion for living life fully. Known as “Uncle Dave” to many, he treasures family, friendships, and meaningful connection. Whether he’s hosting a backyard BBQ, going to a concert, or being a steady presence in someone’s life, David brings loyalty, warmth, and heart to everything he does.

Fun Fact:
David has overcome some of life’s toughest challenges—and he uses that strength to encourage others to take life back with both hands. He’s not just great at his job; he’s the kind of person you’re better for knowing.

Meet Dave who joined Sterling in 2019 and quickly found his stride in the world of home inspections. With a background in IT and the print industry, he brings precision and professionalism to every job—and he’s our go-to expert for clear, accurate report writing. Always dependable, Dave is the teammate who steps in wherever he’s needed.

Outside of Work:
Dave and his wife love spending time with their grandchildren, taking motorbike rides together, and serving in their church choir.

Fun Fact:
Dave quietly leads by example—always ready to lend a hand, support the team, or go the extra mile for a client. He’s the definition of Servant Leadership in action.

Meet Jeff, he has been inspecting homes across Western Washington for over 5 years. With a background as an executive chef, he brings a service-first mindset and attention to detail that ensures clients feel taken care of every step of the way. Whether he’s crawling under a home or explaining findings with clarity, Jeff is all about delivering the best experience possible.

Outside of Work:
When he’s not inspecting, Jeff enjoys working on his property and helping his mom. He’s also a culinary master who finds joy in creating great meals and savoring good food.

Fun Fact:
Jeff might just invite you to throw on a crawl suit and come see what’s going on under your home—because he believes confidence starts with being informed.

John started out on his own in the inspection world but quickly saw the value of working within a strong, supportive team. Since joining Sterling, he’s brought energy, positivity, and a passion for helping others. As our in-house education extraordinaire, John loves making sure homeowners understand their homes—and feel good doing it.

Outside of Work:
Creative to the core, John is always building something—birdhouses, home projects, or his next artistic idea. He’s also known for his upbeat attitude and genuine care for clients.

Fun Fact:
You’ll never catch John without a smile. His enthusiasm, clear communication, and team-first mindset remind us all that when we work together, everyone wins.
