RESPONDING TO COVID-19

The multifaceted impact of COVID-19 have caused all of us to find innovative ways to conduct business. With social distancing the new normal, we wanted to let you know the best practices we are adding and remind you that we have options for our inspection processes that may be helpful if we have a client concerned about personally attending their inspection.

As we have been taught hand washing is the best preventative practice for the spread of any germs. We will provide cleaning kits that include hand soap for every inspection. Additionally, our inspectors will wear rubber gloves while doing the interior portion of the inspection. They will wipe down services they touch such as door knobs and handles at the conclusion of the inspection. This effort is to protect our clients and the home owners.

As you know, we have a practice of doing a photo review with you and our client at the end of the inspection. This is a time to personally inform and to answer those immediate questions.

We can remotely connect with a client, if they prefer to not attend the inspection or are out of the area, through an online Zoom session. This allows the client to view the inspection photos and interact with you and the inspector using their computer or mobile device. This remote review process has worked so well for many of our clients in the past, and may remove any concern clients have about attending the inspection.
