RecallChek

RecallChek is the first service for consumer recalls in the United States and has compiled over 205 million recalls from public records, to create a fail-safe system to check for dangerous flaws with home appliances. If a manufacturer designs a dangerous product, they MUST recall that item and fix it free of charge! RecallChek will provide the information to resolve any potential recall issues promptly.

How It Works:

  • Your home inspector records the model numbers of your built-in home appliances and HVAC systems.

  • The Model Number Algorithm (MNA) matches your appliances against the RecallChek database of recalled items.

  • Metal RoofsRecallChek issues a report, separate from the home inspection report. This report is emailed directly to you.

  • This service is intended to provide homeowners with valuable information on how to receive FREE repairs from manufacturers in the event a recalled appliance is found. This service is not meant to be used in the inspection response process.

90-Day Warranty

The 90-Day Limited Structural and Mechanical Warranty offers short-term coverage for things we are not able to identify or determine at the time of inspection.

  • Free with any successfully completed home inspection

  • Valid 90 days from the date of inspection OR 22 days after closing (whichever comes later – you will always have at least 22-days-worth of coverage)

  • Covers repairs to items specifically listed within our warranty which the Home Inspector has found to be in good working condition at the time of inspection.

  • No deductible

  • Claims handled within 72 hours of complete submission.

*This warranty may work in conjunction with an existing warranty.

Platinum Roof Protection Plan

The Platinum Roof Protection Plan covers the repair of leaks in your home’s roof for a period of 5 years following the completion date of your home inspection. This plan is free with any successfully completed home inspection.

All residential roof types are covered with this policy including:

  • Asphalt/composition shingles

  • Slate Roofs

  • Metal Roofs

  • Tile Roofs

  • Non-commercial Flat Roofs

Platinum Roof Protection Plan

The Platinum Roof Protection Plan covers the repair of leaks in your home’s roof for a period of 5 years following the completion date of your home inspection. This plan is free with any successfully completed home inspection.

All residential roof types are covered with this policy including:

  • Asphalt/composition shingles

  • Slate Roofs

  • Metal Roofs

  • Tile Roofs

  • Non-commercial Flat Roofs

MoldSafe

The MoldSafe protection plan covers the remediation of new visible mold or moisture issues that were not noted during the course of the inspection and in your home inspection report.

  • Free with any successfully completed home inspection

  • Valid 90 days from the date of inspection OR 22 days after closing (whichever comes later – you will always have at least 22-days-worth of coverage)

  • Covers the removal of visible mold on permanent surfaces

  • Covers remediation costs up to $2,000

MoldSafe

The MoldSafe protection plan covers the remediation of new visible mold or moisture issues that were not noted during the course of the inspection and in your home inspection report.

  • Free with any successfully completed home inspection

  • Covers repairs to items specifically listed within our warranty which the Home Inspector has found to be in good working condition at the time of inspection

  • Covers repair costs up to $4,000

SewerGard

The SewerGard protection plan provides sewer line protection if the main water line breaks or the sewer collapses.

The Sterling Inspection Group offers the Termite Protection Plan which covers your home for 90 days following the inspection against new termite and carpenter ant infestations. Should an infestation be found that wasn’t there at the time of inspection, the infestation will be treated after a small deductible is met.

  • Free with a Termite or Structural Pest Inspection

  • Full Home Coverage for Termites and Carpenter Ants

  • Low deductible coverage

  • Continued coverage after the 90 days for as low as $14.97 a month.

The Sterling Inspection Group offers the Termite Protection Plan which covers your home for 90 days following the inspection against new termite and carpenter ant infestations.
